The Red Feather Historical Society is involved in local projects, all of which are volunteer-run. Current projects include the Log Cabin School, Ayers Homestead Property, the Historic Site Signs placement and future plans for the Historic Outdoor Park. About the Historic Sites & Signage Project:
If you have or live in a “historical building” in the area, one which was built before 1950, the Red Feather Historical Society would like to include it in our Historic Site project. We will provide a sign to identify your historic site. For an example, please see the Historic Site Log Cabin School Sign (pdf file). If you are interested please read the Criteria, complete form with paperwork, and then contact Pat Clemens at 970-495-0560 or email at email@example.com.
Red Feather Historic Outdoor Park: Future Plans
The RFHS is in the process of planning an organized self-guided walking tour from the Historic Robinson Cabin to a historic outdoor park on our recently combined properties. We are actively seeking historical farming, mining and logging implements to be displayed with signage that has been donated or is on loan to the RFHS. For more information, contact Gary Stanton at 970-493-1181 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
